Going GREEN..

or pink, or yellow, or orange, or blue!!! Yep you might have guessed it I talking about cloth diapers of course!!!! My babies will now be sporting the fabulous bum genius 3.0 organic cloth diapers. We are on our first 24 hours of using them and so far I am loving it!!! The initial investment was a little painful to get all the diapers (12) but in five months they will be paid for and we will never have to buy diapers again!!!!!!!!!!! Plus we are helping the environment a bit too!!! They are definitely not anything like the old school cloth diapers of our parents days, these are deluxe! They are all in one diapers. They have the liners built into them and they go on just like a normal diaper would. They have snaps to put them on and they snap length wise also so they can be size small, medium, or large!!! They fit about 8 pound to 30!!!! Carleigh had on the same diaper for 12 hours last night without a single leak. Zander, Lissie, and Brody all also are wearing monkey doozle cloth diapers at night time. All three of them woke up with dry Pajamas this morning!!! I LOVE them!!!!!!!!! Tomorrow I am going to get some liners down in Racine so when they poop you just grab the liner and flush it down the toilet!!! My sister has two friends that have been using them since DEC without leaks as long as the white liner is tucked into the water proof outside!!! I am converted!!!

Yep that cute pink thing on her butt is a diaper!!!

Carleigh just LOVES the kitty!!!! Emmery is such a great sport when Carleigh makls her!

That is such a great idea!! I was thinking of the old school diapers at first with the safety pins, but when you explained them they are much better than they used to be.

Wow...I'll be interested to see how it goes. One of my friends here converted, also. I think they're super cute, but besides that...I'm not sure yet! :) I haven't done much research, but I'll ask you in a few months how you like them. And YES, I saw the Stonely's house...yay for them! Tyler & I had a long discussion and I told him that I'm willing to live in an apartment for 2 more years if we can get THAT next! We'll see...he wants to keep looking for something bigger now. So we'll keep looking. :)
