and we're off...

So we are about ready to hit the road!! I am so excited to have some quality and quantity time as a family!!! We are leaving in a few hours and driving to Sandusky, OH tonight! Zach has enough reward points with Hilton so tonight we are going to stay in a hotel for FREEE!!!! We didn't think setting up camp at 11pm would be very fun! Then tomorrow we will drive to Niagra Falls and go camping there for a day! On Sunday we will wake up and drive to Palmyra NY to tour the church history sites. Sunday night we will most likely drive to CT to stay with my bestest Aunt Betty and her girls and their kids! I am soooooooo excited to see everyone and meet my cousins three kids. They are all about the same age besides Carleigh. When we leave CT we will drive to Columbus OH and hopefully get to meet up with my old roommate Sheena and her family! Then back home!!! It will be about 33 hours worth of driving so we will have tons of bonding time as a family! I really am so excited to leave I wish Zach was home right now and didn't have to work today. Carleigh has been sleeping all day so hopefully she decides to continue to sleep all night! Brody is doing awesome with his potty training. Lissie is turning into a little girl and Zander is crazy full of energy and would be in heaven if I let him eat otter pops all day. But since I don't he is quite a handful!

California dreamin'

So, I am out in California and thought I would be board out of my mind. So I called up my brother (from another mother) Morgan and we are down here in Temecula having a good time. I saw their little girl Molly, she is a chunky monkey!

Riding Dirt bikes. These are little 50 cc jobs that are really squirrelly, they can get out from under you pretty easy, but are not too dangerous.

This is the coyote that I shot this morning.

Morgan and I got this little guy at about 7 am Cali time. Darcy called me at about 8 am Darcy called me and asked what we were doing. After telling her she said, "You already killed a coyote, it's only 8 o'clock there." She was still in bed at 10 am in Wis.

So, everything that is worth it requires a price. Today the price was a bloody eyebrow. I got hit by the scope when I shot the coyote, earning the mark of the modern hunter.

This is back at Ken and Sandi's house. Sandi came down and fed Morgan and I breakfast and wasn't paying any attention to my face as we were talking. Finally, she turned and looked at me and gasped as though I were a troll.

Reid's Birth Announcement...

Since Zach is gone I asked my sister if we could come over and play today! I got lucky and she said YES!!! When I got to her house she said, "I need your help with Reid's announcement." So I showed her what I came up with last night and we got the kids ready, took pictures and made this...

Birth Announcement

It is currently 1:05am and I should be sleeping! Instead of sleeping I decided to stay up and make this...
I took the pictures tonight and made this announcement in my photo editing program Paint Shop Pro. It was fun playing around with it!!! Carleigh is almost exactly two weeks old. It is crazy thinking that exactly two weeks ago Carleigh was still in my belly!!! I am so glad she is out!!!! We are so blessed to have her in our family! I just love her to pieces and so does everyone else!!!So far she is as PERFECT as they come. My due date is this coming Wednesday so it will be interesting to see if Carleigh livens up a bit. She still sleeps about 23 hours a day!!!
