Okay so I have been a complete slacker blogger since I have moved here!!! SORRY!!!! So here is the the long story short. Once we got to CA it took us 6 days to find a place and we scored big time. The house is in a great little area in Thousand Oaks. It is in the more "country" area so if you walk through the neighborhood there are people that have horses, chickens and goats. THe first day we moved in we saw two horses walking on our street. It was pretty neat for me and the kids!!! The house is a really nice 3 bedroom 2 bathroom. We put carpet in the garage and turned it into our "basement playroom!" The back yard is HUGE there is a lighted basketball court in the back and tons of grass for the new Trampoline that Santa is bringing! SHHHHHHHHHHHH! Zander spends his time rollerblading in the back yard when he is not a school and also he loves to climb the apricot tree and make a "battle station!" There is also a covered patio with a fan for our out door dining! We have and apricot tree and an orange tree! We will be singing popcorn popping a lot in the spring!!!!
The weather here is pretty close to PERFECT!!! It get cold at night but during the day the kids are out playing in the yard. As wonderful as all this is I am still missing and longing for my wonderful family and friends in Wisconsin. I miss you all terribly. I pretty much spend everyday of my life in my house sewing and cleaning and the sewing and cleaning some more. We only have one car until Feb so zach takes the car everyday and I stay home! When I need to go places I walk with my new amazing Valco tri mode twin stroller with the toddler seat and hitch hicker! It is awesome all 4 of the kids can be on the stroller at the same time and it pushes like a dream!
If anyone want to come to CA we would love to have you!!! We have a queen bed for guests to sleep in!!!!!!!!!!!

SOLD! I'm going to drive to California to come visit you! What an amazing house, neighborhood, everything. And it's obviously been way too long since I'd seen pictures of Brody, because I didn't recognize him! Oh, they're all such beautiful kids. You are so blessed. I miss you so much I could cry, Darcy! So happy for you guys! It makes me homesick that you're in Cali. And you do know that you have THE CUTEST kids in the world right?!
Wow, the kids are getting big. Are those TEETH on Carleigh?? Holy cow, she's growing! I love Brodys hair...too cute. Miss you tons too!
Oh man - you have the hitchhiker too? You have got to post pictures!! I can't believe you can even push it with that many kids! So jealous that you live in Cali!
Sorry you are so homesick, but we are excited you are here. We enjoyed having you for Thanksgiving and playing games.
