we have a little neighbor girl who is old enough to know better but young enough not to care. so, instead of knocking and waiting to be invited she just traipses in and out of our house as if it were her own. disconcerting but not wholly unbearable. however,
zander seems to have picked up the habit... he walked right into the house of my mother-in-law's neighbor (in case you didn't follow that as badly as i didn't follow that, as i was typing it, that is the neighbor of
susan josko,
darcy's mother).
furthermore,
apparently when
kathy (
susan's neighbor) asked him to leave, he wouldn't. how rude. so, this week i am going to talk to our little neighbor girl and ask her not to be quite so free with the way our door swings.
as for
zander, well, we told him that trolls live in other peoples houses and they would eat him if he went in uninvited.
think he believes us?

That thing about the troll definitely won't work. He's too smart to believe that, and you'll just end up looking silly when he goes looking for trolls in every house he sees.
